Whether you plan to make New Year’s Resolutions or not, the start of a new year is a good time to reassess your commitment not only to professional speaking, but also to speaking well.  On Wednesday evening, March 2, PSA member Celeste Brown will conduct a speaking skills training session for PSA Holland members. During this session, she will put a spotlight on the most common pitfalls in speaking technique that she observed as Coordinator/Facilitator for the 2009 and 2010 Speaking Skills Trainings conducted by Toastmasters in NL for PSA Holland.  Celeste, owner of Speech Coach Consultants, will focus on the “areas for improvement” that she observed during speeches by PSA members. It will be an interactive evening that will give you valuable, useful tips to make your speeches/presentations even more memorable and impactful. 

Some of the speaking skills to be highlighted are:

1.    Organization of content
2.    Vocal variety and clarity
3.    Body language and use of space
4.    Getting to the point

All participants are asked to come prepared with a short speech (2 min. max) based upon your own personal goal for 2011.

Deelname voor PSA-leden is gratis. Voor degenen die geen lid zijn en voor de eerste keer een PSA-bijeenkomst bijwonen, is de entree eveneens gratis.
Voor niet-PSA leden die al vaker op bijeenkomsten zijn geweest, bedraagt de entree € 100,- (vooraf te betalen).
